This luxurious houseboat should be called a floating house and has lots of light and great views over a couple of the largest canals of Amsterdam, and the Montelbaan Tower.
Our rate include 6% VAT, linen, weekly cleaning and linen change for stays of 10 nights or more, utilities and internet (where present).
Please note that rates do not include city tax, which will be added to your invoice in the booking process and amounts to 5% of the ex VAT (6%) amount and is due 2 weeks before arrival.
An additional fee of EUR50 will be charged for each booking for final cleaning of the apartment.
Layout description
This 100m2 completely furnished houseboat has two cozy bedrooms. After when you come on board of this boat you enter via the original wheel house. You will find a nice little lounge in the stern of the ship. When going forward in the houseboat you will see the open kitchen to the right with a dining table behind it and the spacious living with skylights. Fore you will find both bedrooms on the port side and the bathroom and the scullery on the starboard side of the houseboat.

More information
As a note, this houseboat is not suitable for families with small children that cannot swim. In this case being a houseboat is something that has no influence on the quality of the heating and environment inside the apartment. The houseboat is very well insulated and has excellent heating and other amenities.
Location description
The headquarters of Gassan Diamonds is situated in a historic formerly steam-driven diamond factory, just around the corner from this houseboat, which is open for visitation daily. There are many other sites of interest with a few minutes walking from this houseboat, such as the NEMO museum, the Jewish Historic museum, The Museum of the Resistance (Verzetsmuseum), the Carre Theater, and many more.
A little further away from the houseboat is Nieuwmarkt, which is the Asian corner of historic centre of Amsterdam. If you like any and/or all types of Asian food, you will find the Asian restaurants and supermarkets here a must. The local daily thrift market on the Waterlooplein is also worth a visit; many knickknack and second hand vintage clothing are to be found here.
