This is a furnished house with four floors and in size a characteristic Jordaan style apartment, that is why it is called Jordaan House.
THE NEW UPGRADED JORDAAN HOUSE CAN SLEEP UP TO 9 GUESTS. RATE IS BASED ON 6 GUESTS, ANY EXTRA GUEST (UP TO 3) WILL BE 40 EUR PER PERSON PER NIGHT EXTRA. IF YOU WOULD SO PREFER PLEASE ENTER THIS IN THE REMARK FIELD AT BOOKING.
Our rate include 6% VAT, linen, weekly cleaning and linen change for stays of 10 nights or more, utilities and internet (where present).
Please note that rates do not include city tax, which will be added to your invoice in the booking process and amounts to 5% of the ex VAT (6%) amount and is due 2 weeks before arrival.
An additional fee of EUR50 will be charged for each booking for final cleaning of the apartment.
Layout description
The Jordaan House is a beautifully refurbished, characteristic Jordaan-style building. Very unique for Amsterdam, this is an entire house with its own front door. The décor is stylish and modern with solid oak floors throughout and designer elements in each room. Its wide, street-side windows provide plenty of natural light, making the house bright and airy. It is located in the charming and quiet Jordaan, the historic artisan's quarter that is today a highly sought after neighbourhood.
This stylish and comfortable three-bedroom house comprises a modern and fully equipped open plan kitchen/ dining room with all Smeg appliances and a huge pink Smeg fridge. There is a large separate living room offering the latest in communication and audiovisual technology with ample seating for 8-9 guests. There are two spacious bathrooms, one with a full size bath tub and the other en-suite to bedroom 3. On the top floor one can find two further double bedrooms. This well-appointed serviced apartment has four floors, with moderately steep internal staircases, and is ideal as corporate or leisure accommodation.

More information
Although from the outside the apartment is considered very old and Jordaan characteristic, from the inside it really has a modern touch. With its 105m2 this apartment is quite big for an Amsterdam apartment. At the entrance there is a big glass plate on the ground, this solid glass plate lets through natural daylight the flows onto from the large street side windows.
Staircases
This apartment has four internal flights. In historic buildings in Amsterdam many of the staircases are steeper than most people are used to. The flights are between moderately steep and steep.

The Jordaan House is located in the quiet and historic Jordaan, in the heart of Amsterdam's old city centre. The area is known for its numerous restaurants, cafes, boutiques, speciality shops and relaxed atmosphere. Several lively, busy markets are held nearby on a weekly basis, including the well-known organic food market on the Noordermarkt. The Jordaan House is located on the Binnen Oranjestraat, close to the Haarlemmerdijk, which was named the Best Shopping Street in the Netherlands in 2007, and the neighbouring Brouwersgracht, renown as one of the most picturesque canals with beautiful warehouse buildings dating from the 1600’s.
